Respite Events
What Is It?
Respite is a part of the AWO ministry at CCM. Several nights a year we provide free respite services to local families who have loved one(s) with special needs. It is a night for everyone to get refueled!
How Does It Work?
Guardians: register by announced deadline, and drop off/pick up all children at CCM at specified times of event.
Volunteers: serve as room leaders, buddies, or prepare food for the event.
Children: come the night of event ready to have fun!
Who Can Come?
We welcome all individuals regardless of age or medical diagnosis and their siblings. Volunteers also vary in age, experience, personality . . . almost everything except our love for Christ!
When Is It?
Time is always 6:30 - 9:30 pm.

Jesus and his disciples were so busy caring for the needs of the people around them
that they "didn't even have a chance to eat."
That is when Jesus gave his prescription for stress.
"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." Mark 6:31
