women's ministries

Helping women come together and grow in their love and knowledge of the Lord and find a place to be of service to others in the church, their communities and their families. It is our desire to utilize the resources for ministry that exist in every woman who is seeking to yield her life to Christ.

The main desire of the Women's Ministries is to provide opportunities for women to grow both in their relationship with God and in their desire to reach out to others.

Opportunities to Serve

Stop by the Women's Center in the main lobby to see how you can become involved!
Some of our on-going ministries include:

Food Teams
Meals are taken to those in need (because of illness, hospitalization, birth of a child, etc.). Some women prepare and deliver an entire meal. Others serve on one of our food teams. Each team has a captain and the captain coordinates the preparation and delivery of the meal. Team members may only prepare one dish for the meal. Teams and individuals are called on a rotating basis (so that no one is called too often).

Bereavement Outreach

When a member of the church dies, a meal may be served after the funeral to the family. There are two teams (each with a captain and a co-captain) who are called on a rotating basis. Team members are asked to provide a dish for the meal. If your schedule allows, you may also be asked to help serve the meal.
